Access point and LAN installation for Kasetsart University’s Faculty of Industry

AITS was entrusted with Wi-Fi installation and LAN cabling in the building ofthe Faculty of Industry, Kasetsart University,to improve speed, reliability and effective service for students and staff.

Beyond installing network equipment, AITS planned the complete system: surveying actual usage points, designing coverage and selecting equipment suited to the university environment.

Internet network installation details

1. Indoor access point design and installation

  • Place ceiling-mounted access points for comprehensive coverage
  • Choose Wi-Fi 6 access points supporting many concurrent users
  • Configure SSIDs, VLANs and security to separate user groups and improve protection

2. Indoor LAN cabling

  • Use genuine copper Cat6 cabling supporting 1–10 Gbps
  • Route cables neatly through ceilings and trays, labeling every endpoint
  • Test every cable with a LAN tester for reliability

3. Backup networking and management installation

  • Install PoE switches to power access points through LAN cables
  • Configure monitoring and remote management through a cloud controller
  • Provide maintenance guidance to the faculty’s IT team for long-term use

What distinguishes the AITS approach

  • Begin with actual usage patterns, beyond building plans alone
  • Check cable and equipment quality at every point to avoid long-term problems
  • Prioritize continuous use through speed, reliability and post-installation care
  • Communicate professionally with the site team and offer practical solutions adapted to the organization

Which organizations is this suited to?

  • Universities, schools and educational institutions
  • Government agencies, office buildings and factories
  • Organizations needing comprehensive, reliable and manageable Wi-Fi

Access Point Installation and LAN Cabling at the Faculty of Industry, Kasetsart University

AITS delivers reliable, high-performance Wi-Fi network infrastructure for educational institutions

AITS was entrusted with the design and implementation of the Wi-Fi and LAN network system for the Faculty of Industry, Kasetsart University. The project’s objective was to enhance internet speed, improve signal stability, and ensure the network could handle heavy usage from both students and faculty.

This was far more than a basic equipment installation — it was a comprehensive infrastructure project. AITS provided end-to-end planning, from real-world usage analysis to network architecture design, device selection, and seamless deployment tailored to the campus environment.

Project Highlights: Comprehensive Wi-Fi & LAN Network Installation

1. Access Point Design and Installation

  • Ceiling-mounted Access Points were strategically positioned for optimal coverage and minimal signal interference
  • Deployed Wi-Fi 6 standard APs to support high user density and fast speeds
  • Configured SSID segmentation, VLANs, and security protocols to separate user groups and enhance cybersecurity

2. Professional LAN Cabling System

  • Installed pure copper CAT6 LAN cables, supporting 1–10 Gbps speeds
  • Routed all cabling above ceilings and through cable trays, neatly labeled at both ends for ease of maintenance
  • Verified all connections with LAN Testers to ensure signal integrity and long-term performance

3. Network Management & Redundancy

  • Integrated PoE switches to power Access Points directly via LAN cabling
  • Configured cloud-based monitoring via a Remote Network Controller for real-time management
  • Provided on-site training and maintenance guidance for the faculty’s IT department

What Makes AITS Different

  • We begin with real usage behavior analysis, not just a blueprint
  • Every cable and component is carefully selected for long-term reliability
  • We ensure seamless connectivity, consistent speed, and stability under heavy load
  • We maintain open, professional communication with IT and admin staff, proposing scalable solutions that align with institutional needs

Ideal for Organizations That Require Enterprise-Grade Network Infrastructure

  • Universities, schools, and academic campuses
  • Government agencies, offices, and factories
  • Enterprises that require stable, scalable Wi-Fi and LAN systems
